The Endocrinology Unit of the KEM Hospital is the youngest of its super specialties. It was set up in 2005 with Dr. (Mrs.) Vaishali Deshmukh, M.D, DNB and DM as the Endocrinologist in charge. With the setting up of the Endocrinology Clinic, there has been an increasing turnover of endocrine referrals to the hospital.
